What’s Sugaring?
Better than Waxing?
Sugaring uses an all natural paste or gel made from real ingredients to remove the hair follicle from the root. The results can last up to 6 weeks.
Will it damage my skin?
Absolutely not. The sugar will not stick to live skin cells, only dead skin cells are removed, so there is no risk of abrasion or tearing.
Is the sugar paste safe?
Yes! With sugaring, you not only get beautiful skin; you also get to avoid the chemical based waxing products that are typically used in the hair removal process. Our sugar is made of real ingredients: sugar, water, and lemon juice. You could even eat it if you wanted to!
How is the paste applied?
Sugar paste is applied and removed in the natural direction of hair growth. This is the opposite of waxing, which goes against the grain and causes unnecessary discomfort and irritation.
More sanitary
Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic sugar paste is applied with gloves, and a fresh ball of sugar paste is used on each client, meaning there’s no risk of cross contamination. And sugar paste dissolves easily, leaving no sticky residue like with waxing.
How often should I go?
Generally every 4–6 weeks, although we’ll discuss your personal hair removal plan at the time of your appointment.
